I get this black stoneware clay once a year to make winter pots with. You can't order clay to be shipped in the winter because it can't freeze, and no one around here sells it. SO these bowls and plates are all a limited run and once everything in the black clay is gone, it won't be back until next winter.
These two bowls each have a moon rock kind of shiny interior with a raw outside. The clay body feels nice to hold and sip miso soup from.
